The Core Intervention Diet and Fitness Log may be used in two
different ways.
The log may be downloaded
in a PDF format so you may write down your daily data.

The log may also be saved
to your computer in an Excel format, which can be
downloaded here.
The Excel format is for
individuals who have a moderate working knowledge of
Excel. A brief overview on how to use the Excel
workbook:
If you look at the bottom
of the workbook you will see the following tags:

Summary tab
Do not enter
any data. This sheet is linked to the daily sheets
in the workbook and data will be automatically entered
as you complete your daily data.
Daily tabs
Sunday through Saturday.
Click on the daily tab and enter your diet and fitness
information. Fields to be completed are:
Name – Date – Weight – Time food is consumed, brief
description of food consumed, and the nutritional data.
The bottom of the worksheet
is set up track your fitness activity. Enter the time
of exercise, brief description of exercise performed and
for those using Polar watches – a cell to enter your
calories burned.
Cheat Sheet tab
Use this
sheet to track the foods you eat on a daily basis.
It will save you time in looking up nutritional values.
Just enter the information once. You can then
highlight the data, press CTRL and C on your keyboard,
click on your daily tab and paste – CTRL and V.
