*PFIT-Professional Fitness Instructor Training School founded in 1989 by Dahelia and Wayne Hunt under the direction of the American College of Integrative Medicine.

For nearly 10 years, PFIT provided the training and education programs for the Baylor Sports Medicine Institute (a composite of Baylor College of Medicine, Methodist Hospital, TIRR-Rehabilitation and the BSMI Orthopedic group).

Quality course content and many years of experience training and certifying fitness professionals has earned PFIT the status of affiliate provider for the only Personal Fitness Trainer National Board Exam conducted by the National Board of Fitness Examiners.

PFIT certified trainers DIFFER from most other nationally certified trainers in that not only must they pass a comprehensive final written exam, they must also receive passing marks from five (5) individual examiners during a practical final exam.
